plot two

i found the first story to feel a bit bland and unaspiring, so i decided to go and do another plot, where i focused more upon the end, as without a clear goal, it becomes difficult to think what I'm building up towards.

so i created this mind map, that highlights the key scenes within the story.

to explain the story in essence, its theme is that of over coming fear and peer pressure from a parental figure. where the story starts with the character seeing a monster rummaging through his crops, destroying and eating them. he travels back to his far where his father figure convinces him to pick up a weapon and chase after the creature, despite the persons worry. he hesitantly picks it up, and begrudgedly goes after the creature. he eventually kills it, for it to be revealed as a mere animal where the main characters hesitancy came from his morals rather than his fear, showing that it is less about a story of triumph and closer to that of being forced to turn your back on your morals. in the end it is meant to make the viewers perception of the story shift, and left them wondering whose in the wrong, or is it justified.
